I had one work colleague who used to drink his coffee quite slowly — sometimes, he would not even drink all of it at all, and just enjoy the fact that it is there and he could pick it up and drink whenever he wanted.

Moreover, I have included duplicated each snippets (images and actual snippets that can be copied in your editor and tried), which means that the article is in fact half of its estimated size. I guess, Medium’s reading time estimator considers each image taking +10 seconds to read, but you are probably not reading both the selectable code and the image at all times.

Regarding 40. you are right. I replaced my implementation with yours. Thanks!

Note that I haven’t really included all the most optimized versions for each snippet. Sometimes, I have only included a few things just for the case of informing readers that they are there.
